The Seasiders reserve team returned to winning ways on Wednesday night with a 2-1 win over high flying Carlisle United.

Steve Thompson's men came from behind to record a 2-1 win thanks to second half goals from Simon Wiles and John Hills.

The win leaves Pool fourth in the table five points behind leaders Preston with two gams in hand. The reserves can cut the gap next Wednesday when they travel down the M55 to take on North End.
