The reserve team lost their final game of the season 2-1 at home to Everton this afternoon.

The Toffees took the lead after 29 minutes of play when Victor Anichebe put the ball past Paul Rachubka. The away side then doubled their lead in quickfire time as Apostolos Vellios played the ball across the box for Adam Forshaw to slot in.

Blackpool made a double substitution at half-time as Brett Ormerod and Ludovic Sylvestre came on for Sergei Kornilenko and Adam Dodd. Chris Basham finally pulled a goal back for The Seasiders with a header on 73 but an equaliser proved elusive.
