Blackpool Football Club Physiotherapist - Phil Horner

Phil Horner took over as physiotherapist at Blackpool Football Club following the departure of Paul Kelly who left to take up a role with Blackburn Rovers.
Phil has played professional football for a number of clubs during his career and even made an appearance for England's Youth Team.
He started out as an apprentice at Leicester City in the mid 1980's and spent a period on loan at Rotherham in 1986 before joining Halifax Town on a free transfer, Phil finished his playing career here at Bloomfield Road with the Seasiders where he played from 1990/91 to the 1994/95 season.
Upon finishing his professional playing career Phil studied for his BSc Hons Degree in Physiotherapy whilst playing non-league football for Southport, upon completing his degree Phil worked as a physiotherapist at Preston Royal Infirmary Hospital before returning to Bloomfield Road in his new capacity.
Phil is also a member of both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and the Council of Professional Supplementary Medicine.
