Tyson can play both wide and up front, and has been used mainly off the bench during the early part of his time at Blackpool.
The striker started out at Reading, but after four loan moves elsewhere, he settled at Wycombe.
Tyson scored 44 times for Wanderers, and was snapped up by Nottingham Forest for £675,000.
After five full seasons at The City Ground, that brought about 42 goals before a move to rivals Derby. That move didn’t work out for the striker and he was released in the summer of 2013.
The 31-year-old made his Blackpool debut as a substitute in a 2-1 victory at Bournemouth in September.
