Signed on a free transfer after three seasons in Spain with Hercules, Tiago Gomes became Ian Holloway's third signing of the summer.
The Portuguese, who has been capped twice at U-21 level for his country, spent six years with Benfica as a youth player and made his professional debut as a footballer for Estoril, before moving to Oriental and Odivelas.
Gomes joined Hercules in 2009 from Estrela Amadora for a fee of 400,000 euros and helped the club to promotion in his first full season with them.
