The midfielder was one of three Frenchman to arrive at Bloomfield Road in 2010 when he joined Blackpool for an undisclosed fee from Czech side Mlada Boleslav.
Sylvestre began his career at Spanish giants Barcelona, before enjoying a two-year spell at Sparta Prague.
His classy, laid-back style caught the eye in his first season at the club and he built on that promise with 33 appearances in all competitions, including his first two goals for the club in 2011/12.
