Blackpool FC parted with £180,000 for the services of former Luton Town striker Mark Cullen in June 2015.

The Hatters’ leading marksman last season with 14 goals, Cullen agreed a two-year deal at Bloomfield Road, with the option of a further year.

Born in Ashington, Cullen came through the youth system at Hull City and made 28 appearances for The Tigers, including four at Premier League level. While on the books of Hull, he also spent time out on loan with Bradford City, Bury and Stockport County.

Cullen got off to the best possible start in tangerine, with a double on the opening day at Colchester United, and he went on to score crucial winners against Swindon Town and Doncaster Rovers.
