Peter Clarke returned to Bloomfield Road in July 2014 after leaving Championship side Huddersfield Town.
The former Everton defender first joined Blackpool on loan back in 2002, prior to making a permanent move to the club in September 2004.
A real fans' favourite and club captain, he made a total of 109 appearances for Blackpool before leaving for Southend United in 2006.
The centre-back spent three seasons with Southend and then headed to Huddersfield Town, where he has been for the past five years of his career.
After 225 appearances for The Terriers Clarke departed on a free transfer and made the decision to link-up again with The Seasiders.
Clarke made his second debut for the club at Nottingham Forest on the opening day of the season.
