Tomasz Cywka was snapped up by Blackpool on a free transfer after he left relegated Barnsley in 2014.
The attacking midfielder signed a one-year deal in July 2014, with the option of a further 12 months.
The former-Poland Under-21 star was brought to England by Wigan Athletic in 2006, and gained Championship experience with the likes of Derby and Reading.
He joined The Tykes in 2012 and spent two seasons with the Yorkshire club, becoming accustomed to spectacular strikes from long-range.
In his final season at Oakwell Cywka scored four times in 33 appearances, before becoming a Seasider.
He scored his first goal for The Seasiders against Blackburn Rovers in August 2014.
