Fixture | Blackpool vs Portsmouth – Date | 11 November 2017 – Venue | Bloomfield Road
Blackpool will aim to get back on track in Sky Bet League One when Portsmouth visit Bloomfield Road tomorrow, kick-off 3pm.
The Seasiders, who sit 12th in the division with a game in hand, have gone two weeks without a league fixture due to participation in the Checkatrade Trophy and Emirates FA Cup.
Last Time Out:
Blackpool exited the Emirates FA Cup last weekend with a 2-1 defeat at Boreham Wood. Danny Philliskirk was on target for The Seasiders with his third goal in two matches.
Portsmouth's FA Cup campaign also came to an end away to Luton Town, with The Hatters recording a 1-0 win.
Blackpool will be boosted by the return of Curtis Tilt, who missed last weekend's match at Boreham Wood due to suspension. Colin Daniel is also expected to be available again after recovering from injury. The Seasiders will also assess Kyle Vassell's fitness, with the striker yet to feature this month due to a hamstring problem. Clark Robertson (foot) and Mark Cullen (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.
Portsmouth Brett Pitman has come through training ahead of the game, with the striker shaking off a knock to his knee. Milan Lalkovic will miss out, however, with a recurrence of an Achilles problem.
Match Betting Odds:
Blackpool Win - 2/1
Draw - 23/10
Portsmouth Win - 11/8
The club will be marking Armsitice Day with a period of silence, The Last Post and an epitaph prior to kick-off tomorrow. Veterans will lead out both clubs and the players will be wearing poppy shirts.
Supporters will be kindly asked to join us in remembering the fallen.
