Blackpool kick-off their 2018/19 home campaign with the visit of Portsmouth to Bloomfield Road tomorrow (Saturday).
Terry McPhillips will take charge of the side following Gary Bowyer's departure earlier this week, with The Seasiders aiming to build on the point picked up at Wycombe on the opening day.
Portsmouth, managed by Kenny Jackett, started their season with a 1-0 victory at home to Luton Town.
Blackpool's main injury concerns surround Jimmy Ryan (knee) and Ryan McLaughlin (hamstring), though both are running again. The game may come too soon for returns, however. Donervon Daniels returned to the club yesterday, though this match may come too soon for a second debut.
The visitors could be set to hand a debut to David Wheeler, who joined Pompey on loan from QPR earlier in the week.
Man with the Whistle:
Ross Joyce, who took charge of Barnsley's 4-0 victory against Oxford United last weekend, will referee the fixture at Bloomfield Road. He officiated 41 matches last season and handed out 150 yellow cards and two red cards.
Tickets for the 3pm kick-off are priced as follows*:
- £22 for Adults
- £18 for Seniors
- £10 for Under-18s
- Free for Under-11s**
*Prices exclude block M seating.
**Under-11s must become a member of Young Seasiders for £15. This entitles free admission to home EFL matches with a paying adult or senior.
Season ticket holders and members are entitled to £5 off the price of a match ticket for adults and seniors, and £2 off the price of an under-18 ticket.
Please note: home tickets for the fixture must be purchased by 1pm on Saturday.
Supporters are also asked to arrive early for the match, given that traffic congestion is expected in the area due to the Blackpool Air Show.
