A new-look Blackpool takes on newly-promoted Wycombe Wanderers to kick-off the 2018/19 Sky Bet League One campaign tomorrow.
Several summer additions will make competitive debuts for the club at Adams Park, with no less than 12 new faces arriving at Bloomfield Road during the off-season.
Though unbeaten in pre-season, only the fitness and tactical preparation will count for something when the intensity lifts a few notches for the real match action.
Former Blackpool loan 'keeper Ryan Allsop is set to start between the sticks for Wycombe, having returned to the club for a second spell this summer. Another ex-Pool player, Nathan Tyson, will have an injury assessed, while Darius Charles and Scott Kashket hope to recover from knocks.
The Seasiders will make a late decision on the availability of Jimmy Ryan following a knee compalint, however on-loan Leeds United man Paudie O'Connor has recovered from a dead leg. Fellow summer signing Ryan McLaughlin is unlikely to feature, though.
Man with the Whistle:
Nicholas Kinsey, yet to oversee a Blackpool fixture, will officiate at Adams Park. He refereed in Sky Bet League One and Two last season and showed 124 yellow cards and six red cards in 29 games.
Supporters still intending to travel can purchase tickets on the day, though a £2 price increase now applies.
Therefore, tickets will now be priced at:
- £22 for Adults (26-59)
- £19 for Senior Citizens (60 and Over)
- £17 for Young Adults (19-25)
- £13 for Juniors (13-18)
- Free for 12 and Under
