The Big Preview: Doncaster Rovers (A)

Seasiders Look To Bounce Back

A midweek trip to Doncaster Rovers offers Blackpool an opportunity to try and quickly get back on track in Sky Bet League One tonight.

The Seasiders hope to shake off the disappointment of a 3-0 defeat to MK Dons on the weekend and pick up their first league victory of the month.

To do that, they must overcome a Doncaster side that remains unbeaten in the division, having won three and drawn three of their opening fixtures.

Team News:

Manager Simon Grayson could well make changes in light of Saturday's defeat, with several players pushing for recalls to the side. Mark Howard (Achilles) and Nathan Delfouneso (hamstring) are the only players missing.

Former Pool defender Alex Baptiste ruptured his Achilles last month and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines for Doncaster. Kazaiah Sterling could return to the side after missing Saturday's game away at Ipswich.

Previous Meeting:

The two teams played out a 1-1 draw at Bloomfield Road back in March, with a strike from Danny Rowe salvaging a point for the visitors. That ensured that Doncaster took four points from the two league meetings last season.

The Referee:

Antony Coggins will oversee proceedings tonight, having refereed five matches so far this season.

His last Blackpool game came at Valley Parade in March, when Blackpool beat Bradford City 4-1.

Supporters still intending to make the trip can purchase tickets from the stadium, priced at:
