Blackpool's run of five straight away wins ended at Lincoln City, with the hosts coming from two goals down in a 2-2 draw.
The Seasiders were two to the good just three minutes into the second half, after Sullay Kaikai added to Ellis Simms' first half strike.
Two late goals from Anthony Scully and Brennan Johnson though, ensured Lincoln took a share of the spoils on the afternoon.
With 15 minutes on the clock, Ellis Simms had the first golden chance at goal for Blackpool. Grant Ward’s header forward was collected well by Jerry Yates, who was under pressure, but found a pass to Simms. The Everton loanee tried his luck from a tight angle, similar to that which he scored against Swindon last weekend, but the goalkeeper was equal to it.
Minutes later, Luke Garbutt won a penalty on the edge of the area, which Sullay Kaikai whipped towards goal, but again the goalkeeper was equal to it, blocking it out for a corner. And from that corner, Ollie Turton’s powerful header at goal looked to be heading in the back of the net, but just went wide of the near post.
Blackpool were impressing and deservedly took the lead with just over five minutes of the first half to go. Ellis Simms won the ball on the edge of the area, cut inside onto his left foot and curled a wonderful effort past Alex Palmer in the Lincoln goal to give the Seasiders the lead at the half-time break.

Blackpool were looking ruthless and doubled their lead just three minutes into the second half. Ellis Simms and Jerry Yates linked up brilliantly to tee up Sullay Kaikai, who ran at goal with the ball at his feet. With the defenders closing down, Kaikai placed the ball past Palmer and into the back of the net from the edge of the area.
At the other end, Chris Maxwell made a wonderful save from Adam Jackson’s goal bound header directly from a corner. Maxwell, who had very little to do all game, tipped the powerful header over the bar.
Blackpool were looking to kill Lincoln off and could have made it three with 15 minutes to go. Yates played the ball forward to Simms, who got around his man on the left and fired at goal. The shot was palmed away by Palmer, before falling to Jerry Yates, who’s first time effort was blocked by Joe Walsh and cleared.
The Seasiders were punished moments later, with Lincoln halving the deficit to make it 2-1. A cross from the right from Harry Anderson was blocked by Chris Maxwell, only for Anthony Scully to fire in a rebound with a first-time effort.
And the hosts were level with five minutes to go. Brennan Johnson, who impressed all game, fired a shot into the roof of the net past Maxwell to level the score.
2-2 is how it ended, and Blackpool were left to settle for a point on the road.
