New Signing On Loan Switch
New arrival Jack Robinson says he can't wait to get started at Blackpool, with the loanee meeting his new team-mates this morning.
The 19-year-old, who agreed a season-long move from Liverpool yesterday, picked up his new training kit from Bloomfield Road and immediately set about making an impression.
"I'm excited and I can't wait to get in with the boys and start training," he told the official website. "Hopefully I can get a place in the starting team and show the fans and everyone what I can do."
A similar move to Wolves towards the end of last season whetted his appetite for some regular first-team action this time around.
"I hadn't played in a while so I went to Wolves and I got 11 games there which was fantastic. This season I wanted to come on loan and get a full season in if I could. To be playing again will be brilliant."
The England Under-21 international goes straight into the squad for the game against Doncaster Rovers tomorrow, having played a few games for Brendan Rodgers' side in pre-season.
"I played against Preston and we had the tour in Asia, and I played 45 minutes over there. I'm feeling fit and raring to go," he said.
Although entering a new dressing room can be a daunting prospect, Robinson's transition should be made a smooth one with former team-mates Nathan Eccleston and Thomas Ince at Bloomfield Road.
"I've known them for years. It's hard coming to a new club but knowing people here makes it a bit easier. It's a great club and I can't wait to get started," he added.
