Left-Back Looks Ahead To Tough Period
Jack Robinson will experience his first taste of festive football over the next few weeks - and he's determined to help the team back to winning ways.
The left-back, who has been a big part of Blackpool's season so far, is loving life at Bloomfield Road but knows that some key results at a testing time could make things all the sweeter.
"It's been brilliant, I can't complain. I just want to keep my head down and keep doing well now," the 20-year-old said.
"We've been in a bit of a dip of form of late so with four games in two weeks we've got to try and get as many points as we can," the 20-year-old said. "It's going to be a tough period because we haven't got such a big squad as it is. That many games in that amount of time is going to be hard for us but we just need to go out there, do our best and show the fans what we were like at the start of the season. That's what we need to get back to."
Having scored just one goal in their last three fixtures, the challenge now is to convert more opportunities when dominating stages of play.
"We played well in the first-half against QPR but it was in the second-half again where we kind of let ourselves down. I think we panicked a little bit. If we'd have carried on what we were doing in the first-half then I think we could have seen the game out."
"We create loads of chances in the first and second-half but nothing is going our way at the minute, we just can't seem to score," Robinson admitted. "Hopefully it will come and we'll start taking our chances because we do miss quite a lot. If we can get scoring then I'm sure we can go on a run," he added.
