Sky Bet: Market Movers

2 December 2013

Latest Promotion Odds Provided By Sky Bet

Leicester City have been cut from 4/1 to 5/2 to win the Sky Bet Championship after going three points clear at the top of the table.
They are now odds-on for promotion at 8/11 after running out 3-0 winners over Millwall, with their nearest rivals Burnley and title favourites Queens Park Rangers both suffering defeats on Saturday.
Nigel Pearson’s men are second favourites behind Harry Redknapp’s side, who moved from 10/11 to 6/5 on the back of their shock defeat away to Doncaster.
Burnley, meanwhile, continue to drift as they’ve gone four games without a win – they’re now 10/1 having started the weekend at 8/1, though they’re 5/2 to be promoted.
Doncaster’s win, courtesy of a late winner from Paul Quinn, ensured they pulled further away from the relegation zone and Paul Dickov’s side are now well fancied to stay up at 1/3.
Elsewhere, new Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka secured three points on his home debut as they beat Bolton 1-0 at the Riverside, thanks to a penalty from Grant Leadbitter.
The Trotters had a penalty of their own but Jermaine Beckford missed their chance to grab a point, seeing their odds on a top-half finish drift from 8/11 to 5/6, with Boro’s simultaneously slashed from 9/4 to 7/4.
Meanwhile, Yeovil were the only team in the bottom five to register a win after a shock victory at Watford. The Glovers are now 13/8 to stay up having been 11/4.
