Harry Redknapp’s men were evens heading into the weekend but after their first away win in five games at Blackpool, coupled with Burnley and Leicester drawing, has forced them in to 5/6 for the title.
They’ve been favourites from the start of the season but haven't had everything their own way, with the Clarets and the Foxes both leading the way at one point or another.
They are both still well in the title mix but the former are now rated 9/1 from 7/1, while the latter remain second favourites at 9/2 from 4/1.
Meanwhile, Derby’s fantastic run under Steve McClaren continues and their sixth consecutive league win sees them cut from 10/1 to 8/1 third favourites for the title.
Their 2-0 win at Charlton means the Rams have taken 25 points from a possible 30 since McClaren’s appointment, and they’re now 2/1 to be promoted.
Elsewhere, Leeds maintained their promotion push with a 3-0 win over Yorkshire rivals Doncaster, edging above Blackpool and Nottingham Forest in the table.
They’re now 2/1 from 5/2 to finish in the top six, while Ross McCormack’s goalscoring exploits continue and he’s cut from 3/1 to 5/2 to be the division’s top scorer having taken his recent tally to 11 goals in seven games.
At the other end of the table, Sheffield Wednesday gave their survival chances a major boost after an impressive first away win of the season.
The Owls are now 4/11 to avoid relegation to Sky Bet League 1 but are still widely expected to finish in the lower half of the table at 1/100.
