Sky Bet Preview: Burnley

20 December 2013

Where is your money going this weekend?

After three successive league defeats Blackpool will travel to promotion-chasing Burnley this weekend in the hope of getting back to winning ways.

However, The Seasiders' will face a stern test at Turf Moor with Sean Dyche's side currently sitting in 2nd place in the table and remain unbeaten on home soil.

In addition to this the last time Blackpool won at Burnley was 15 years ago, so with that in mind Pool will have to be at their best to take anything from the game this weekend.

The last two meetings between the sides has seen just two goals in total, so the Under 1.5 goals betting market could be something to delve into.

Burnley are less than evens to pick up all three points at 4/5, with Pool priced at 7/2 to pick up their first away win in four games.

The draw is available at 5/2 as Blackpool look to end their three-match losing streak in the Championship.

Needless to say the away side will have to be wary of the Clarets' star striker Danny Ings, who has already notched 12 goals in the league this season.

The former Bournemouth striker is 7/2 to be the first goalscorer and 10/11 to score anytime, with his strike partner Sam Vokes 9/2 to notch the opening goal.

With Ricardo Fuller out suspended Steven Davies is likely to fill the void again, and is 8/1 to grab the first goal for the visitors.

Correct Score:

Burnley 1-1 Blackpool (11/2)

Burnley 0-1 Blackpool (9/1)

Burnley 1-2 Blackpool (12/1)
