New Arrivals Hopes For Successful Loan Spell
Marko Futacs hopes to build on his first appearance for Blackpool by scoring some important goals for the club.
The 23-year-old striker, who joined the club on loan from Leicester City yesterday, is no stranger to Championship football and he's relishing his opportunity at Bloomfield Road.
"This is a great club so I'm very happy to be here and play here. I know I will really enjoy my time here," he said. "I'm here to play and score goals and to do my best. I will work after training to get better and fitter and to score some goals."
The Hungarian came on earlier than planned for his debut against Birmingham City last night, with Gary Taylor-Fletcher forced off injured in the first-half.
"I came on a little bit earlier than I was expecting but it was a great game, I think. It was good to be on the pitch and I just need the confidence to get better and better.
"I played on Monday for the reserve team (at Leicester) for 65 minutes or something like that. I thought I would come on later but it was fine. It wasn't easy for the first five or ten minutes but after that it got better and better."
Futacs will now report to Squires Gate tomorrow, as he looks to build up a relationship with his team-mates ahead of Saturday's trip to Watford.
"My first training will be on Thursday and Friday so that will make it easier to know them and know the system of how they play," he added.
