Forward Set For Spell On Sidelines
Gary Taylor-Fletcher has been ruled out of action for six-to-eight weeks after sustaining a hamstring tear against Birmingham City.
The versatile forward, who has scored four goals this season, was forced off in Blackpool's draw at St Andrew's after 41 minutes on Tuesday night.
"He's done his hamstring and is out for six-to-eight weeks," manager Paul Ince revealed. "That's another body blow for us because I thought he was excellent on Tuesday.
"He can play on the left, he can play right, he can play in the hole or upfront. He's great in the changing room and he's great with the lads so to lose a major figure like him, at this stage of the season, is a massive disappointment."
Ince also confirmed that Tiago Gomes has returned to Portugal for a knee operation, although no timescale has been set for his return as of yet.
