Sky Bet Preview: Blackpool-Bolton

1 October 2013

Latest Odds On The Match

It was a low scoring weekend in the Sky Bet Championship but will the goals return on Tuesday evening? Read on for Sky Bet’s take on Blackpool’s chances.

Blackpool picked up another good point on the road on Friday night and they now host Bolton, who are without a victory in their first nine games of the season.

The Seasiders are unbeaten in their last eight home games, despite already hosting three of the current top six this season. They’ve impressively won six of those eight home matches, keeping six clean sheets in the process. With Bolton having conceded 10 goals, and scoring just two, in their last three away matches, it’s hard to see past a home win. Surprisingly, Blackpool continue to be underestimated and look a great price at 11/10 to get back to winning ways.

However, with The Tangerines superb clean sheet record, and Bolton’s struggles scoring this season, we probably shouldn’t expect a goal fest. In fact, nine of Blackpool’s last 11 home matches have had fewer than two goals, and eight have been goalless at the break. Under 2.5 goals is a great price at 10/11

Other reasons to bet:

· Blackpool have scored first in their last five home matches 8/11

· Blackpool have had draw/win results in their last four wins 9/2

· Bolton have been level at half-time in two of their last three matches against top-half teams 6/5
