Keeper Plays 45 Minutes In Qualifier
Matt Gilks appeared as a second-half substitute as Scotland recorded a 2-1 win in Macedonia last night.The Blackpool goalkeeper replaced David Marshall at half-time and was forced to pull-off a number of fine saves.
Watford's Ikechi Anya gave Gordon Strachan's side the lead on 59 minutes, but Macedonia hit back when Jovan Kostovski levelled after 84 minutes.
Shaun Maloney had the final say though, curling in a super free-kick to put Scotland fourth in their World Cup Qualifying group.
