Seasiders On The RoadWith just two days to go until the season’s curtain opener at The City Ground, Blackpool fans will begin to turn their attention to Nottingham.
A happy hunting ground in the past for The Seasiders, The City Ground will see a new-look Blackpool side kick-off their Championship campaign on Saturday.
Here is a quick guide on getting to Forest and what to do when you’re there.
By car: There are around 137 miles between Bloomfield Road and The City Ground, and the journey takes approximately three hours by car.

By train: Nottingham Railway Station is situated one mile away from The City Ground and is around a 20 minute journey by foot.
The City Ground was built in 1898 and has an all-seated capacity of 30,602.
Forest and city rivals Notts County are the closest two professional football clubs in England.
The stadium was used for Euro 1996 and has been home to Forest since its opening.
The Meadow Lane Sports Bar at Notts County FC invites all Blackpool fans to use their bar on Saturday and it is open from 10.30am.
Due to the match approaching a sell-out there will be no tickets available on Saturday. Tickets remain on sale at the ticket office until 5pm Friday, as well as online or over the phone.
The Seasiders have been allocated an initial 980 tickets for the game.

- £22 for Senior Citizens (65+)
- £16 for Under-18s
- £12 for Under-8s
