Manager On Aston Villa FixtureLee Clark says Blackpool will look forward to a 'great game' in the FA Cup this weekend, as the team look to cause a third round upset at Aston Villa.
The Seasiders take a break from league action to try and move past this stage of the competition for the first time since 2012.
"We've got a great game to look forward to in the cup, even though our priority is the league and trying to stay in the division," Clark admitted. "We still want to go to Aston Villa to try and cause an upset.
"There will be upsets on third round weekend. Can we be one of them? We'll give it a go.
"We'll go there with no pressure on us, enjoy the stadium, enjoy the pitch and put a performance on that gets us in the next round."
Some short-terms deals and loans are due to expire in the coming days, with the manager in the process of finalising his squad plans for the second part of the season.
"We're in talks with them, whether they stay or whether they go. Decisions are to be made," he confirmed. "I'll need to look at the loan market because one or two of them are up.
"Luckily the cup game gives me a bit of time now. We've identified targets and we'll try and get them in the building before we play Millwall."
