Goalkeeper On Sheffield Wednesday TripJoe Lewis is eyeing up six points from the next two matches, as Blackpool prepare to face Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham United.
Two games in three days provides a real opportunity for The Seasiders to get their survival bid back on track.
The goalkeeper's focus for now is firmly on Boxing Day at Hillsborough however, where Lewis is expecting a big performance.
“Boxing Day can't come quick enough certainly for me, but for all the lads,” said Lewis. “It's a massive one and we can put Saturday to bed.
“We want to get back out there, put that result behind us, and get three points on the board. Personally I always enjoy going there, it's a great stadium with a lot of history.”
Adamant on putting the Bournemouth defeat in the past, Lewis has called for The Seasiders to put a run together over the festive period.
“We've been on a decent run and confidence was high, so that was a bit of a shock result. We've got Friday and Sunday, two great opportunities to get results.
“There are six points up for grabs, come the end of that a lot could change. We'll be looking for six points and everything could look a lot different after those two games,” said Lewis.
