Nosworthy: All Sticking Together

15 December 2014

Defender On Team Unity

Nyron Nosworthy believes the late equaliser at Charlton on Saturday speaks volumes for the character in Blackpool's squad.

The Seasiders rescued a point with a minute remaining at The Valley, making it a fourth match unbeaten.

Nosworthy can see the positivity spreading, and senses a united team pulling in the same direction.

“We're sticking together, and that's how we'll keep pulling things in the right direction,” he said.

“These points count because anything is better than a loss and we're getting the right results on the pitch.

“It's nice to come in and do positive things so long may it continue, and hopefully we'll climb out of the bottom three.”

The defender has slotted in alongside Peter Clarke for the last three matches, and says a strong partnership is starting to form.

“I'm enjoying it. Clarkey is a good honest defender, you need players who'll work hard for the team.

“He is a leader on the pitch by the way he defends. With his attitude everyone follows suit and I'm the same, so it's enjoyable to play alongside him.

“That's why we've bonded because we're both honest and want to do the right things. The best way to do that is getting clean sheets so we can go on and win games,” said Nosworthy.
