Defender Pleased To ArriveDarren O'Dea says the Blackpool camp he is coming into is a positive one, and one starting to turn the corner.
The defender joined Blackpool until January on Thursday, and has trained with the squad ahead of the Birmingham City clash.
Unbeaten in three of their last four matches, O'Dea has been buoyed by the spirit in this group of players.
“I think people are quietly confident with the players that have been brought in, things are moving in the right direction,” he said.
“Different faces are coming in and what I know of the people coming in is they're good people, who'll create a good atmosphere.
“This team has a lot of new faces, new management and it's the responsibility of everyone here to take this club forward.”
O'Dea links up with The Seasiders on the back of a frustrating spell in Ukraine, and is now desperate to get back in action in The Championship.
“I was desperate to play football again, the last two years I had things to deal with outside of football, it's great to not worry about anything but getting onto the pitch and doing well.
“I think it's when I'll play my best, enjoying my football rather than worrying about anything off the pitch. However the only way you'll enjoy your football is by winning,” said O'Dea.
