Midfielder Enjoying Life With PoolStuart O'Keefe can feel Blackpool's momentum starting to build, having enjoyed an unbeaten start to his career in tangerine.
The midfielder has helped The Seasiders to four points from six available, having joined on loan from Crystal Palace recently.
After enjoying the taste of victory on the weekend, O'Keefe feels Blackpool's form will continue to improve.
“We need to win games, but we need to build a base first. The point at Rotherham showed that as long as we went and beat Birmingham, which we did,” he said.
“There is no reason why we can't pick up another few wins now. We'll go to Charlton and if we beat them all of a sudden we're up there with the others and they start looking behind them.
“Nobody is moaning about the situation, everyone is getting on with it and the results will start to show that.”
The 23-year-old had played just two matches for Palace before arriving at Bloomfield Road, but now has a new lease of life as a Seasider.
“The Gaffer has given me this opportunity, and I'm loving every minute of it to be honest. I need game time and there is more to come from me, so hopefully I can get fit and kick-on.
“It's difficult to gel with this many new bodies coming into a team, but there is a lot of experience in that changing room, people who've been in certain situations.
“I don't know what went on before, and half the team doesn't. We're coming in with an opportunity and a point to prove,” he said.
