Festivities At Bloomfield RoadBlackpool's players got into the festive spirit at the Young Seasiders Christmas party on Monday afternoon.
On hand to sign autographs and pose for photos, the players greeted around 200 young supporters, who also got to meet Santa.
Accustomed to similar events from his own youth supporting Liverpool, Peter Clarke was happy to play his part at Bloomfield Road.
After the event the defender said: “If you're into your football it was always something that is special to you. It's great to see the younger generation so interested and into their football.
“It's always good fun to come to these sorts of events and see so many smiley faces excited for Christmas.”
Clarke was joined by goalkeeper Joe Lewis, who likewise was more than happy to play his part.
“It's nice to get a chance to meet some of the fans, especially the younger ones. They look up to quite a few of the players, so it's good to get the chance to meet them.
“They had all of their shirts, so it was nice for them to get signed. Hopefully they all have a nice Christmas,” said Lewis.
