Players Make Brian House Donation

23 December 2014

Duo Return To Hospice

Tony McMahon and Steven Davies returned to Brian House Children's Hospice on Tuesday afternoon to hand over a donation on behalf of the Blackpool FC players.

Following the player visit two weeks ago, the duo handed over a cheque of £1,000 donated by the squad.

The hospice staff work tirelessly to support over 80 local families. Care and a 'home from home' environment is provided for children and young adults in the area who have life threatening and/or life limiting conditions.

After handing over the cheque, McMahon said: “The care being provided really touched us when we visited earlier this month and we made clear that we wanted to do something.

"Returning with this donation was a way of showing our appreciation for the fantastic support being provided."

Along with the donation, Blackpool's players and staff star in a Glad All Over music video, with the aim of raising awareness of the care provided at Brian House.

The video will be available on the club's official YouTube channel on Christmas Eve.
