Brian House & Victoria Hospital VisitsBlackpool's players spent Monday afternoon visiting the patients at Brian House Children's Hospice, Trinity Hospice, and the children's ward at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
The likes of Tony McMahon, Joe Lewis and Ishmael Miller attended Brian House, helping young patients with their Christmas art tasks, while the players also spent time with the older patients.
After the visit, McMahon said: “It doesn't take a lot for us to come down here, it makes us appreciate what we've got a little bit more. Some of the kids are obviously not well, so the least we can do is take some time out.”
Elsewhere other members of the squad, including the likes of Peter Clarke, Nathan Delfouneso and Jamie O'Hara, went to visit the children's ward at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Handing out presents to young supporters, the players took time out to pose for photos, sign autographs and chat to the patients.
Clarke said: “It's a very humbling experience. It's the time of the year when people feel everything a little more intensely and if we can come to the hospital and put one or two smiles on faces, then it's the least we can do.”
