Up The Pool Preview: Birmingham City

21 February 2014

Keogh Stars In Latest Edition

Andy Keogh is the cover star and main interview in tomorrow's Birmingham City edition of Up the Pool.

The on loan Millwall man netted his first goal for The Seasiders on his first start in the last home game against Forest and says he has ‘a spring back in his step’ since his move to Bloomfield Road.

“I’ve settled in quickly here, training has been great, the lads have been spot on and I really enjoyed my first full game against Forest,” the 27-year-old admitted.

"I have a chance to help Blackpool finish the season well, which I’m looking forward to doing.”

In addition to Keogh, Tony McMahon speaks about being a key voice at the back and his desire to create chances from full back.

Also, Freddy Adu looks back on his career so far and discusses his hopes of making the World Cup, while Kirk Broadfoot and Gary MacKenzie go head-to-head in the latest round of Pitch Your Wits.

This week’s programme also pays tribute to Sir Tom Finney while Birmingham’s top scorer Lee Novak provides an opposition view on the game.

Up The Pool, designed by O Publishing, is priced at £3 and is available to purchase now from the club shop and around Bloomfield Road tomorrow.
