Sky Bet Preview: Middlesbrough

10 January 2014

Betting options for tomorrow's game

Bloomfield Road will experience Championship football for the first time in 2014 when Blackpool face Middlesbrough tomorrow.

The Seasiders ended the last year disappointingly, and are now without a league victory in seven.

An improved performance at Bolton in the FA Cup last time out will provide hope, but Boro are in form and looking impressive under new manager Aitor Karanka.

The Teessiders took ten points from 12 available over Christmas, but have won just twice in the league on the road this season.

Blackpool can be backed for a first win since November at 2/1.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough are at 11/8, and a draw is at 23/10.

Pool’s last victory came at home to Sheffield Wednesday, it was 2-0 that day and the same score can be backed at 12/1.

Back in August when the pair met, Chris Basham opened the scoring and is at 16/1 to net first tomorrow.

Albert Adomah is Boro’s top goal scorer, and is 13/2 to open the scoring, with Marvin Emnes at 6/1.

First Goal Scorer
Thomas Ince 6/1
Angel Martinez 18/1
Craig Cathcart 40/1

Correct Score
Blackpool 1-0 7/1
Draw 0-0 9/1
Middlesbrough 2-0 10/1
