Barry Pleased To Bring In StrikerBarry Ferguson says he made his mind up about signing Robert Earnshaw after just 10 minutes on the training ground.
The former Cardiff, West Brom and Nottingham Forest striker linked up with The Seasiders last week, prior to agreeing a deal until the end of the season.
"He became available during the week and I was informed that he was available to come in. One training session was enough for me to see him," Ferguson admitted.
"I knew what qualities he's got, you just need to look at the clubs he's played for and his goalscoring record. When I saw him training on Thursday I made my decision after 10 minutes. He looked sharp, he's hungry and he's obviously got a point to prove. I like those types of players."
The 32-year-old, who left MLS side Toronto in January, was unavailable to face Huddersfield Town on the weekend but could come into contention for Bolton.
"He'll certainly be in the squad for Tuesday and hopefully he'll bring some goals to us," Ferguson added.
