Left-Back Reflects on Loan SpellJack Robinson hopes to build on his season-long loan stint at Blackpool by impressing for Liverpool on his return to Anfield.
The 20-year-old, who made 36 appearances in tangerine, hopes to be back fit in time for pre-season after sustaining anterior cruciate ligament damage against Burnley last month.
"It was disappointing to get the injury. I've done so many of those tackles over the years but I just opened my knee up and ended up tearing my knee ligament," he revealed.
"I've got another week on crutches and then it's all about getting fit, going on holiday and then getting back for pre-season at Liverpool. We'll see how things go from there.
"I need to get as fit as possible and work as hard as I can. I need to show Brendan what I'm about and see what he thinks about me next season."
The left-back will report back to his parent club full of praise for the experience he's picked up at Bloomfield Road.
"It's been brilliant, I can't complain one bit. I've played every minute where I've not been suspended or injured so it's been an experience for me to come out for a whole season on loan.
"I'd like to credit Paul Ince for bringing me in the first place and Barry was excellent when he took over. It's been a privilege to play here at Blackpool and there may be a time in the future when I may or may not come back. We'll just have to wait and see," he added.
