Blackpool FC Community Trust's Nick Cunliffe last week won the 'Contribution to the Community Award' at Radio Wave's Heroes in the Community Awards.

Cunliffe was given the award at Blackpool's Hilton Hotel last Thursday for his key role in setting up female only teams for St Annes Football Club.

He still coaches the Under-15s team, at the club now have at least three all-girl age groups, whereas previously they had none.
