Goal Scorer On Bolton DrawJacob Murphy was left disappointed after his free-kick earned Blackpool a single point, rather than all three on Saturday.
The winger's stunning goal put The Seasiders ahead at Bloomfield Road, but Bolton struck late to nick a point.
Regardless Murphy watched his free-kick all the way and was delighted when it nestled in the top corner.
“I hit it, saw it nip inside the post and I was already celebrating,” he said. “We'd been taking free-kicks, me, Jay (Jamie O'Hara) and Chrissy (Chris Eagles) all week and I've been poor.
“At the time I thought it would be enough, but it wasn't to be. We can take a lot of positives from the game, everyone worked their socks off, but it's two points dropped for us.”
Murphy was making his home debut and registered his second Pool goal, which is pleasing for the Norwich City loanee.
“I was really happy with the home debut. The fans were amazing today, we heard them throughout the whole game so it's great that we've got support like that behind us.
“We're itching to get that win and you can see from today that we're getting close. We were about ten minutes away from getting that win.
“We're disappointed, but excited that this can be the start of a run for us. It's one point on the board, so we've got to push on from here,” he said.
