One-Off Edition ProducedFor one match only a retro edition of the official matchday programme has been produced for Saturday's clash with Bolton Wanderers.
A fixture steeped in history, the two clubs have met almost 100 times in the past, so a special edition of the programme will be available to mark the latest coming together.
Most notably Blackpool's FA Cup win came at the hands of Bolton back in 1953 and the two clubs shared a seven-goal thriller in the Premier League four seasons ago.
Designed in a retro style throughout, the programme is a one-off edition, but remains available at the standard price of £3.
The main interview inside comes from legendary right-back Jimmy Armfield, who discusses his memorable career with both Blackpool and England.
Inside, he said: “The thing about us here, there are a lot of teams that share colours, but this is the one that strikes. They've all tried, but can never match it.”
Providing the contemporary content are midfielders Jacob Mellis and Jamie O'Hara. Mellis talks about his history of relegation scraps with Barnsley, while O'Hara delves into his frustrating time without a club, prior to his Pool move.
Elsewhere former-winger Trevor Sinclair talks us through his Time In Tangerine, while there is the usual classic kit and programmes content in our Rewind section.
Another former-player in Neil Danns returns to Bloomfield Road with Bolton, and he is the opposition interview, reliving his memories from his time under Steve McMahon in 2003.
Away from football, Karl Boyes a Blackpool pool player speaks ahead of the Mosconi Cup in December.
Meanwhile a special edition retro football quiz sees Ishmael Miller and Donervon Daniels go head-to-head.
Created by O Publishing, the programme will be available from around Bloomfield Road from Friday afternoon.
