"We are very proud to be nominated for two such prestigious awards," said Ash Hackett, The Trust's Head of Community. "Its shows the great work the whole team has been doing across the Fylde coast.

"The Trust worked with nearly 15,000 different people last season and delivered more than 6,000 sessions over the year, on projects focused on health, education and getting people more involved in Sports and Physical Activity.

"Our Fit2Go project continues to deliver high quality, healthy lifestyle sessions to every primary and high school in Blackpool. and now also works within the community teaching families the best way to improve their health.

"The project has worked with more than 10,000 people over the past three years, and with the support of Altogether Now - a legacy for Blackpool, we are sure we will more than double that figure over the next three years."
