Stopper Set For DebutEll Parish is relishing making his Blackpool debut against his former club on Friday evening.
The stopper is due to replace the unavailable Joe Lewis, as Cardiff City visit Bloomfield Road.
An unused substitute for every match this season, Parish recognises this as his time to shine.
“When you get these opportunities, when they are a little bit rare, you've got to grab them with both hands,” said Parish.
“I can't wait, especially coming up against an old club of mine. Anyone on the bench or not in the team has to give the manager problems, and make his job as tough as possible.
“We've not got a win yet, so it would be nice to arrive on Friday and be a part of that.”
Having watched every Blackpool match from the bench this season, Parish has been left frustrated with the performances not matching the results.
“It's been very frustrating, I think everyone will agree with that. We've performed well in part of games, but not managed to perform for 90 minutes.
“The ball has not quite dropped, or we've not quite been there, as the results have unfortunately shown. I'm desperate to be part of a winning Blackpool team,” he said.
