Midfielder Answers Quick-Fire Questions

John Lundstram has played in every match for Blackpool this season, and now sits down to answer some questions on his life and career so far.

Who was your sporting hero growing up?
Paul Scholes, because he was probably the best player when I was a kid.

What is your career highlight so far?
Playing in two World Cups for England, getting promotion with Doncaster and playing at Wembley in the play-off final last year.

And the worst moment?
Losing the play-off final at Wembley with Leyton Orient, it was horrible.

Who was your first junior football club?
Springwood in Liverpool.

If you could change one rule in football what would it be?
Getting booked for overdoing a celebration, you should be able to milk it.

Who is the best player in your position in the world currently?
I was really impressed with Toni Kroos at the World Cup, he was the stand-out player for me on the big world stage.

What is the one programme on TV you can’t miss?
Made in Chelsea… because my missus makes me.

If you could have dinner with three famous people who would you invite?
Muhammad Ali, David Beckham and Ayrton Senna.

What is your trademark dish in the kitchen?
Chicken wraps, but I can’t cook too much.

In a film of your life who would play you?
My brother probably, we both act the same.
