Midfielder Hoping For Good NewsAndrea Orlandi is desperate to be given the green light for a return to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
Doubts have been cast over the midfielder's fitness, after a foot injury kept him out of Tuesday's defeat to Watford.
The Spaniard will be given as long as possible to prove his fitness and is keen to make the trip south.
“The first thing I did when I signed for Blackpool was look at the schedule for when Brighton away was,” said Orlandi.
“I'll see how the foot responds, and if I can train I can play. I'm hoping for that, but with the healing process you never know how long it will take.
“I have good friends on and off the pitch there, so it will be great to see everybody."
Orlandi took injections in order to play against Wolves, but the pain ruled him out of Tuesday's game, and potentially Saturday's.
“I played with an injection in my foot, it tried to erase the pain and obviously made it a bit worse.
“I took a risk with the injection, I really wanted to play, because it was an important game, so it hasn't started in the best way.
“It's been frustrating, because they're two stupid injuries. The first one wasn't a big problem, but made me miss two weeks.
“Obviously in the position we're in we need points desperately and need everyone fit. That makes it even worse for me, because I really want to help the team, so it's been frustrating,” he said.
