Manager Reflects On Norwich DefeatJosé Riga says Norwich City's quality and experience made the difference as the visitors came back from a goal down to beat Blackpool 3-1 at Bloomfield Road.
Nathan Delfouneso's second goal of the season put The Seasiders in a good position straight after the interval, however strikes from Lewis Grabban and Josh Murphy followed an own goal from Donervon Daniels to secure all three points for The Canaries.
"There are many frustrations, when you are able to lead the game against this type of opponent it means something but at the end we have no points and the same situation," Riga said.
"We have again given all that we can and the main reflection is always the same at the moment. We maybe didn't have the same number of opportunities but we had six shots on the target. Norwich score three times and we score one."
A tactical reshuffle due to defensive injuries meant that John Lundstram started the game at right-back, putting extra responsibilities on to certain players.
"John was at right-back, Tony was at centre-back and Donervon is a very young player without any experience until now. I just tried to find the right balance to give the team and during one hour we were really good. The individual quality and experience made the difference.
"We were unlucky in some parts of the game. We were doing what we were looking for but we were just not able to keep this result," he added.
Attentions now turn to a Tuesday night fixture against Middlesbrough, followed by a game in front of the Sky cameras against Cardiff City on Friday.
