Plans In Place Once Season EndsLee Clark says he will finally get to grips with putting his own stamp on the club following the conclusion of the season on Saturday.
The manager has been planning meticulously behind the scenes in the last few months as he prepares to make wholesale changes to his Blackpool squad.
"It's all change after the weekend and that means I can put my own stamp on the club moving forward and over the summer, which is crucial for us. It's something I'm looking forward to getting my teeth stuck into," he said.
Some players will feature for Blackpool for the last time against Huddersfield Town, with the manager's mind firmly made up as to who will be staying and going.
"I've done my retained list, the players will be told by me first. All those discussions will be happening on Sunday so I can wake up on Monday morning and plough forward getting the recruitment drive in place."
Blackpool head into the game this weekend looking to avoid the unwanted record of amassing the lowest points total in this division, however a victory will still not gloss over what has been a difficult season.
"It's not been good enough because we've been relegated. Everybody that has been part of the group, in one way or another, has to take some kind of responsibility for that. The only people who aren't responsible for what has happened are the supporters, they've supported us through thick and thin, and too much of it has been thin. We've got to turn things around next season," Clark added.
