Manager On Cardiff Trip
Avoiding unwanted records is the theme of Blackpool's trip to Cardiff City this weekend, with the club looking to avoid going a full season without an away win.
Along with the away record, The Seasiders still require two points to better the division's all-time lowest points total.
Lee Clark's side travel to mid-table Cardiff looking to end their season away from home on a rare positive note.
“There's too many unwanted records being set this season, but they're two we can certainly avoid having on the record books, which is part of our motivation.
“We've got to gain a few points to make sure we don't end with the division's lowest ever total, which is at the forefront of our mind.”
However, building towards next season Clark has been taking positives from his side's performances, which have improved in the main recently.
“In some of our games we've had decent performances, but obviously it's about results as well, so we need to try and get a result.
“We feel our performances have deserved more than what we've got, with the exception of Derby, but we have to understand that it comes within the game, we have to learn how to win games when we're on top,” he added.
