Club's Relegation To League One ConfirmedLee Clark says Blackpool must bounce back and learn lessons from this season, after relegation to League One was confirmed this afternoon.
Determined to rebuild the side and put a full stamp on the club moving forward, the manager has already started lining up targets and putting things in place for a new campaign.
"We knew it was a case of if and when but it still hurts. It's been a really difficult season and we're now waiting for 3 May to get the rebuild fully underway," he said.
"I've already started planning and looking forward to the future, we'll be making changes and work continues in the background now to make sure that we hit the ground running when we start pre-season.
"We've got targets in mind and some pre-season games already in place, so I can't wait to get my teeth stuck into the task of getting this club back up again."
The Seasiders host Reading tomorrow night in one of six games remaining this season, yet Clark is firmly focused on making sure that the current campaign is never repeated.
"We've got to do better moving forward and give the fans something to smile about again. All that has gone wrong this season has to be used in a way that ensures that it never happens again.
"We'll look to put together a squad that is worthy of this club and excites the supporters. We need to bounce back to The Championship and become a competitive team once more," he added.
