Manager Previews Derby County FixtureLee Clark says Blackpool will need to be 'right at it' against a very good Derby County side this evening.
The manager has a number of selection issues to contend with for the game at the iPro Stadium, however he's determined to see an energetic display against impressive opposition.
"I watched some of their game before ours on Saturday and they have some terrific attacking footballers that move the ball around very, very quickly," he said. "We have to be right at it, it's a short turnaround and we're scraping around for bodies now because we're losing them by the game. Let's see what we can do. It's a chance for some of these youngsters to stake a claim for next season."
Clark is expected to turn to the likes of Henry Cameron and Bright Osayi-Samuel again for the fixture, as youth continues to be a shining light for the club.
"We're down to the bare bones, we're asking young players to do a man's job and it's not just the physical side, it's the mental side of playing in these Championship games. I think they're coping great and they've certainly got a big future ahead of them at the club. We've just got to see if we can get another performance and more energy out of them for Tonight's match."
As the manager looks for the experienced players to continue guiding the younger players through, the performances of Gary Madine have come in for worthy praise.
"Gary has been what I expected and what I hoped, he's been a really good signing for us and looks the part," he said. "He's not just a big target man, he can play and handle the ball and he's got a great desire. He's been really impressive with the work he's done for us."
Joe Lewis, Grant Hall, Tom Aldred, Miles Addison and Mark Waddington remain sidelined for the match, however a late decision will be made on Darren O'Dea who sustained a broken nose at Ipswich on Saturday.
