1 April 2015

Defender Under The Spotlight

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Grant Hall has played ten times for Blackpool since arriving in January.

Here he reveals a bit more about himself.

Who was your sporting hero growing up?
David Beckham. I used to have all his shirts when he was at Manchester United.

What is your career highlight so far?
Making my professional debut for Brighton against Southampton. I came on at 0-0 and we ended up winning 3-0, so it was a nice debut.

And the worst moment?
When I was at Birmingham we lost 8-1 to Bournemouth. It was an horrendous day that I want to forget.

Who was your first junior football club?
AFC Jellfish.

If you could change one rule in football what would it be?
Probably getting a suspension for picking up five yellow cards.

Who is the best player in your position in the world currently?
I like Vincent Kompany at Manchester City. I think he's got everything, power, pace and good ability on the ball.

What is the one programme on TV you can’t miss?
Geordie Shore. I've literally watched every episode, once you start watching you can't stop.

If you could have dinner with three famous people who would you invite?
David Beckham, Kevin Hart and Micky Flanagan.

What is your trademark dish in the kitchen?
Fajitas without doubt. I make them for Charles Dunne
