The Seasiders go into the match on the back of two positive performances against Leeds United and Bolton, while the opposition are gearing up for an FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal later this month.
Niall Maher comes back into contention for Blackpool after being ineligible to face Bolton, while José Cubero is expected to retain his place in the team. Tom Aldred and Miles Addison remain on the sidelines, as do Henry Cameron and Mark Waddington.
Danny Williams returns from suspension for Reading but Nathaniel Chalobah, Anton Ferdinand and Simox Cox are out injured.
Tickets remain on sale to both sets of supporters for the match, with pre-booked tickets available for collection from the ticket booth, located just outside the ticket office, from 5pm.
Reading fans still intending to travel are asked to pay for tickets at the away ticket booth from 6.15pm.

Geoff Eltringham will officiate the game between the sides, having last refereed a Blackpool game in August 2013. He will be assisted by Marc Edwards and Nick Greenhalgh, with Nigel Miller on fourth official duties.
Yeadon Way, the main route into the ground from the M55, is now open again after major repairs. The road had previously been closed for four months to allow essential works to take place.
Grant Hall is the cover star and main interview in the latest edition of the programme, with Niall Maher and a Jimmy Armfied tribute to former manager Ron Suart also inside.

The family room, located within The Seasiders' Bar, will be open from 5pm until kick-off. Admission is free for families with match tickets, however under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Blackpool are priced at 7/2 with Sky Bet to pick up all three points against Reading, with the visitors available at 17/20.
Saturday's goalscorer Michael Jacobs can be backed at odds of 11/1 to open the scoring, while Jamie O'Hara is 9/2 to score at anytime during the 90 minutes.
